First consultation and treatment
At your first appointment I will take a complete medical history, read your pulses, look at your tongue and possibly examine the site of your symptoms and/or take your blood pressure. Subsequent treatment will involve inserting sterile single-use super fine acupuncture needles into appropriate points selected to affect your whole body, as well as your symptoms. There will be time for you to rest while the needles are doing their work.
Acupuncture needles are very thin so that most people barely feel them being inserted. It is normal to feel a mild tingle or dull ache as I adjust the needle to direct Qi. Many people feel deeply relaxed during the treatment. Some are so relaxed that they fall asleep. I use a varied range of treatment techniques, all applied specifically to the individual's diagnosis.
